Don Hicks is a nationally recognized entrepreneur, investor, and technology leader best known as the founder and former CEO of LLamasoft, the pioneering supply chain modeling, optimization, and analytics company he launched in 1998. Under his leadership, LLamasoft became one of the most influential companies in the supply chain technology industry and was later acquired for approximately $1.5 billion.

Today, Don serves as Founder and CEO of Optilogic, a next-generation supply chain design platform focused on helping organizations build more resilient, risk-aware, and sustainable supply chains through advanced modeling, simulation, and AI-powered decision-making.

In addition to his work in technology, Don is the Managing Director of Multiverse Investments, where he supports innovative companies and entrepreneurs working to create meaningful impact through technology and business innovation. He is also the proprietor of Blue LLama Enterprises and Blue LLama Jazz Club in Ann Arbor, bringing together hospitality, live music, and community experiences.

Throughout his career, Don has founded and led ventures across software, investment, hospitality, immersive technology, and innovation-focused industries. He previously served in the U.S. Army after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point and later earned his MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

Known for combining engineering, strategy, and entrepreneurial thinking, Don has spent his career helping organizations solve complex real-world problems through technology, innovation, and design.
