When he was 19, Robin Williams pulled Dave aside, backstage at the Comedy Store in LA and told him, “Showbiz is 10% show and 90% business.”  And in his experience, that has shown to be very true. There’s no magic bullet when it comes to having a successful career; an extremely hard work ethic and persistence are your most valuable tools. Dave’s worked very hard for his success – and still does today. Because no one cares how talented you are in this business if you’re not making them money.  You’ll be considered a genius if your “project” makes everyone gazillions!  With today’s access to instant connectivity, even those in show business can position themselves to do the bulk of their work at home.
